4. Booking and Payment

  • Booking: All bookings for our moving services must be confirmed in writing, either through our website or by email. By booking a service, you agree to the terms outlined here and any other specific terms associated with the service you are purchasing.
  • Payment: Payment is due before the move, with the exact terms outlined during the booking process. Payment can be made via credit card, debit card, or other accepted payment methods. We accept all major forms of payment unless otherwise specified.
  • Deposits: A non-refundable deposit may be required for certain services at the time of booking. The deposit amount will be clearly communicated and applied toward the total cost of your move.
  • Final Payment: The balance for the move will be due on the day of service. If full payment is not made, we reserve the right to withhold services until payment is received.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellations: If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled move may incur a cancellation fee, which will be communicated at the time of cancellation.
  • Refunds: Refunds are not provided for services rendered. However, in cases of overpayment or service discrepancies, refunds may be issued at our discretion.

6. Responsibilities of the Customer

As a customer, you are responsible for:

  • Providing Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate and complete information regarding your move, including the size of the move, the number of items, and any special requirements (e.g., fragile items, large furniture, or long-term storage needs).
  • Access and Safety: You must ensure that the locations for both pick-up and delivery are accessible for our movers. You must also ensure that there are no obstacles, such as narrow hallways, stairs, or locked gates, that would prevent our team from safely completing the move.
  • Items Not to be Moved: Certain items, such as hazardous materials, firearms, perishable goods, and animals, cannot be moved by our team. You are responsible for ensuring that no restricted items are packed for the move. A list of prohibited items is available upon request.

7. Our Responsibilities

Miami FL Movers is committed to providing high-quality moving services. Our responsibilities include:

  • Packing and Moving: We will handle your belongings with care, using appropriate equipment to move, load, transport, and unload your items.
  • Safety and Security: We will take every precaution to ensure that your belongings are safely moved and stored. However, we are not responsible for damage resulting from improper packing by the customer or damage to items that are not packed by our team.

8. Liability and Limitations

  • Damaged or Lost Items: We take care to ensure that all of your items are safely moved and stored. However, we cannot be held responsible for any damages or losses unless they are the result of our direct negligence. Any damages must be reported immediately upon delivery, and claims should be submitted within 24 hours of the move.
  • Insurance: We offer basic liability coverage for your items during the move, but it is limited. For full protection, we recommend that you purchase additional moving insurance through our recommended providers. Please ask for more information about our insurance options at the time of booking.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Miami FL Movers, its officers, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your use of our services, your breach of these Terms, or any actions arising from the misuse or improper handling of your belongings during the moving process.
